World Population Prospects: the 2015 revision

The recent 2015 revision of the UN World Population Prospects (2015-2100) is now integrated: population, population growth, density, rate of natural increase, population by sex and age groups, fertility, life expectancy, age dependency ratios, sex ratio.
The Population Clock has also been updated accordingly.

New: Social Progress Index

The Social Progress Index measures a comprehensive array of components of social and environmental performance and aggregates them into an overall framework.

World Development Indicators 2015

World Development Indicators updated with the 2015 edition, recently released by the World Bank. This years edition includes new indicators on: Shared Prosperity, which shows that many countries have seen growth in income or consumption among the bottom 40 percent of the population in their welfare distribution; Statistical Capacity, which measures improvements in the strengths of national statistical systems; and Particulate Matter Concentrations which show that in many parts of the world, exposure to air pollution is increasing rapidly.
