Publications

UNODC publishes survey reports carried out by UNODC in collaboration with national governments in the field of illicit drug cultivation and production, drug use, victimization and corruption. It also publishes comparative regional and international analysis of data related to crime and drugs together with standards and recommendations in the field of drug and crime statistics.

  • UNODC
    The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is mandated to assist Member States in their struggle against illicit drugs, crime and terrorism. Established in 1997 through a merger between the United Nations Drug Control Programme and the Centre for International Crime Prevention, UNODC operates in all regions of the world through an extensive network of field offices. UNODC relies on voluntary contributions, mainly from Governments, for 90 per cent of its budget.
  • SASS
    The Statistics and Survey Section (SASS) aims at producing and disseminating accurate drugs and crime statistics at the international level. UNODC also works to strengthen national capacity to produce, disseminate and use drugs and crime statistics within the framework of official statistics.
